Dear VIVI users and all who care about the VIVI brand,

With sincerity and a deep sense of responsibility, we would like to address an important matter concerning a defined group of historical VIVI products and to reaffirm our enduring commitment to product safety and user trust.

From 2019 to 2021, during our formative years, VIVI was a young and fast-growing company. While we were dedicated to advancing product design and user experience, our internal systems for supplier management and quality assurance were still in development. As the product fleet aged and our quality monitoring mechanisms evolved, we identified that certain early-generation models may, under specific conditions, present safety risks related to battery performance.

To address this, we have launched a targeted recall campaign for those early models identified through our product lifecycle monitoring and technical evaluations. This campaign is part of our commitment to ensuring that every user—regardless of when they purchased their VIVI bike—can continue to ride with peace of mind.

Our electric bikes and battery systems are tested and certified by SGS. SGS is a leading global testing, inspection and certification company with more than 2,500 laboratories and operations in 115 countries. In terms of product certification, SGS is one of the most authoritative and credible certification bodies in the world.

AAll VIVI battery systems are now certified by SGS to comply with the UL 2271 Light Electric Vehicle Battery Safety Standard, and all e-bike models comply with the UL 2849 Electric Bike Safety Standard. These globally recognized benchmarks represent our long-term investment in product quality, user safety, and regulatory compliance.

We welcome and encourage independent evaluation—whether by users or certified third-party testing organizations. Should any product be found to fall short of the certification standards we declare, VIVI will assume full legal and reputational responsibility.

Over the past seven years, we’ve grown alongside your expectations, your feedback, and your trust. We know that product quality is only part of the story—how we respond, how we improve, and how we remain accountable matters just as much.
